Have one and getting a 2nd one for the odd cold cold temps. Warms up living room and rest of apartment well and quickly. Very surprised and pleased. Getting a 2nd one as temps are making record lows this year and want one to alternate or just in case need 2 going. Most years we never turn on the central heat and recently moved to villa in which the central air has no heater (don't really need it). And even so, why heat up the entire house when you can just run these babies for the room you're in - in this case, it heats up the entire small villa ok.

I bought this heater to make my garage bearable while I'm working in it during the winter. I didn't expect it to warm it up to 70�F, but I expected it to be able to make a noticeable difference in temperature from the outside air. The only way I can tell that it's actually heating anything is by standing less than a foot from the output fan. Even then, it's only warm air, not hot air. The unit claims 1500W power output, which is the same power rating as the replacement fan I bought after I returned this one. My new fan, (a Bionaire BCH9221-UM Tower Ceramic Heater) has the same power rating, but far out-performs the Optimus H-1382.
Another problem I had with the fan was that it didn't turn on until I had the heat setting turned up over halfway. Not that I'd want to run it on any less than full blast, since it barely heats anything even on its max setting.
It may look like a bargain, but I'd spring for something a bit higher quality.

I purchased this item because I wanted a small and portable alarm that could wake me when I travel, yet not be so loud and annoying that it would wake others around me. To that extent, this item does very well. The vibration is strong enough that you can place this under your standard pillow and you will definitely feel it vibrate. Much stronger than a cell phone vibration, but not as strong as one of those small battery powered handheld massagers...close though.
The buzz setting is another option, but it's your typical travel alarm buzz setting. Loud enough to wake light sleepers, but most people will probably sleep through it.
A simple yet nice feature is the included clip. You can clip this alarm to your pillow case, clothing, or another similarly thin item to prevent the alarm from moving around too much. Very useful for those that tend to move a lot in their sleep.
Operation is very simple...
-1 switch on one side to choose between vibrate, buzz, or vibrate & buzz
-1 switch on the other side to choose between alarm on or off
-buttons on top of the flip-up clock to set time and alarm
That's pretty much it. Simple yet effective.
****After using this at home on a consistent basis I learned to turn off the alarm without even waking up. To prevent this, I now place this alarm on my desk instead of under my pillow so the loud noise created from the hard plastic vibrating against my wooden desk wakes me up.****

I recently traveled to China for a month for business. I bought this alarm clock due to it's compact size and design. I particularly liked the ability to place it inside the pillow case and clip it onto the pillow case edge. I do not hear at all without my cochlear implants when I sleep. I found the backlight adequate and the battery life great. This alarm never failed to wake me and the four minute snooze was ok. Durability has been super. I'll take it with me to Vietnam for two weeks in April on the next business trip :)

I can't sleep through it, even if I try! Prior to getting this I'd worked my way up to using 4 different alarms to wake me up but still slept through them sometimes. You have the option to push a snooze button. The alarm noise & vibration goes on for a full minute if left untouched, then seems to automaticly reset for the next day.
I don't think I'll ever need a different alarm, I might purchase another just in case I ever damage or lose this one! LOVE IT!!!

I've owned many microwave ovens starting with my Radar-range in the 1960's! I have to admit that in this price range, this is a very solid efficient little microwave, perfect for people who live in an apartment, want that extra one for the game room, or even in a kitchen that has stainless steel appliances. It looks good and doesn't have that annoying loud beep some microwaves do. The 1200 watts makes cooking go very fast. I was able to cook a baked potato in less than four minutes. Don't cook a hot dog for more than a minute or you'll have a piece of shriveled toast. Boils water faster than the stove. Defrosts without "cooking" the edges of the chicken breast I had it thaw. The controls were easy to use and the display, while not very bright, can be seen clearly in any light. I can't think of any negatives for this product. Lightweight, it takes up less space than my previous microwave. Highly recommended.

This microwave has a lot to boast about: innovative technology, easy to keep clean, and modern appearance. Unfortunately we were only able to enjoy ours for just over a year. Three weeks after the anniversary of its purchase, it died. We tried every cooking mode, but it shuts itself off after about 2 seconds. Very disappointing for what I thought was a great brand. Our previous Panasonic microwave lasted about 20 years. I know they don't design them to last that long anymore, but I think it should at least survive for 5 years. I read some other reviews from folks who have had similar experiences.

Despite this, the interior paint began chipping off. The chipped areas caused a problem, and I was told that the chips can't be fixed or repainted. I can't believe I am having to replace this thing so quickly, and I am so disappointed. Now I need to get another microwave and it just seems so strange, since this wasn't a "cheap" microwave. Probably one that cost half as much would have lasted just as long. I will not be buying another Panasonic.

Ride Like a Pro DVD Vol. 5 - Jerry "Motorman" Palladino Review by James Connelly (Long Beach, CA)
This is a really great DVD. I am new to motorcycling, and have read as many books as I could find, plus have scoured the internet for knowledge as well. I had taken the MSF basic course years ago, but never bought a bike, and recently took an extra practice course, and bought a bike the next week after. I had a lot of confidence because I had done real well in the extra practice course. The bike I bought though was much more powerful and heavier than the bike I rode in class. All the confidence I gained I lost on my first day out with this new big bike. I tried to remember and focus on all the lessons I had read and done, but it didnt help. 3 days out and this bike was still more in control of me than I was of it.
So I found this DVD, got it, watched it all the way through, Cut some tennis balls in half like he reccomends, went out with the practice guide, practiced, rode, practiced some more, went home and said dang I suck, but tried it again the next day. The second day was a lot easier, and the third much better still. I still havent gotten through a lot of the exercises, and I imagine it will take me quite awhile to get through them all. But my confidence has increased dramaticly. I now feel totally in control of my bike, and can't wait each weekend to go out and practice some more.
He lays out the DVD instruction in a very logical and confidence building way. His advice is very practical and common sense based. I am now glad I bought a bike that rocked my confidence so greatly. Had I bought a starter bike I may have never come across this DVD. He says when you are done with all the exercises, you will be in the top 2% of all motorcyclists, and I believe him.
If you are interested in improving your skills, are willing to set up courses as layed out in the practice guide, and are able to put in the time to practice, then this DVD is a must buy in my opinion.

It's great to be able to pop in the dvd and get a quick refresher on these skills. I ride everyday. In traffic to work and in groups on the weekends, about 10,000 miles a year. I use what is taught in this video constantly. And every time I watch it, I pick up something new or realise a bad habit I've started.
We spend big bucks on shirts, and decals, and patches, and little flashy pieces of chrome, but this might be the best money you can spend on riding next to an Experienced Rider Course.
Buy the dvd, practice the drills, and you will understand why so many of us are so passionate about this dvd.

I purchased four of these, due to the extreme difficulty of running new Romex in my situation.
1. As mentioned by another reviewer, if the device loses power, the clock/day of week must be reset. This is also true if you turn off power to the device using the switch on the bottom. I originally thought a master-off switch would be nice, as it would allow me to simply turn of the heaters when I leave town. Now, I find it unusable, as it zeroes out the clock.
2. The thermostat's relay issues a very loud clunk whenever it goes active. This has been loud enough to wake me up at night.
3. The thermostat always emits a low-level hum. Not loud, but certainly loud enough to annoy.
4. The programming button response is awful. One must hold each button down for about 1 second for it to register. This may not seem like a big deal, but add up all this delay and it makes programming painful and very time consuming.
If you can live with these issues, then by all means go ahead. I would never purchase these again.

I didnt mind getting down and setting temp it is simple and easy to use. but turning it off resets the whole thing which is really kind of stupid to even put a switch in there. Next this thing didn't last more then 2 weeks and it was done and no longer works. Best to find a thermostat that can hang higher on the wall. The fit wasn't very good either like there wasnt much room for the electronics in there.

If you have electric baseboard heat and want a digital programmable setback thermostat -- and you do, because it will make your rooms more comfortable and save you money -- but you don't want to wire in a regular thermostat on the far side of the room, this on-the-baseboard thermostat is the one for you.
It only fits Cadet Series F baseboards, so you'll probably end up replacing the one you have now.
Installation is the same as for any on-the-baseboard thermostat (have an electrician do it if you're not familiar with household wiring). Programming is pretty easy. The thermostat's temperature regulation is much better than I expected. I thought the heater would heat up the sensor and mess it up, but the sensor is right at the bottom, and the way convection works is that hot air exits the top of the unit, which draws cold air in at the bottom, and putting the sensor at the bottom of the thermostat assembly does the trick.
The only issues are:
1. Power outages (including a blink of about a second) cause the unit to lose track of what time it is. It still remembers its heating program, though.
2. If you have furniture in front of your baseboard heaters, getting at the thermostat can be a nuisance.

I ordered this product for my husband for christmas. When he opened it on Christmas the lid didnt work. There was no suction. We called the company and they were going to ship us a new one. That was the the first of Jan it is now Feb 24 and no cup. I have emailed multiple times and have got the run around. I was told twice they were going to send out a new one and they never did. The product was bad and the customer service even worse! If the seller is unbeatable sale dont bother to order it unless you want a headache instead of a cup of coffee!

Keeps beverages warm for a very long time. Typically, my tea or coffee stays reasonably hot for about 2.5-3 hours. Also, nice to have a 20 oz capacity as opposed to just 16.

There are few 20 ounce (or more) mugs on the market, and I was excited when I found this one for my husband. A Venti size at Starbucks is 20 ozs.
The top was always leaky and the flip tab broke within a month. The stainless steel is all dented (although it does not affect the inside of the mug, just the appearance.)
Pretty expensive item to not work well...
